Trash

Trash

The Trash is where objects go when you remove them from a folder without deleting them for good. It is per-folder: each folder keeps its own trash, holding the objects (documents, notes, Constellab documents, scenarios, resources, applications, sub-folders...) that were moved there from that folder. From the trash you can restore an object back to its folder or delete it permanently.

Moving an object to the trash

Open the action menu of the object and choose Move to trash. A confirmation dialog appears; once you confirm, the object leaves the folder listing and is placed in that folder's trash. Moving an object to the trash does not delete it — it can be restored at any time.

Viewing the trash

Open the trash from the folder detail page, from the root folders view, or from the space hierarchy page. The trash lists each object with its name, the user, the last modification date and its tags, and can be searched. An empty trash simply shows no results.

Restoring an object

In the trash, open the action menu of the object and choose Restore from trash, then confirm. The object is removed from the trash and returns to its folder.

Deleting permanently

To remove an object for good, open its action menu in the trash and choose Delete, then confirm. You can also empty the whole trash of a folder at once with the Empty trash action in the trash dialog.
