The Users tab (labelled Members in the interface) of Space management lists everyone who belongs to your space and lets space admins invite new people and set what each member is allowed to do. This is where space roles are assigned.

The members list

The list shows every member of the space with the following information:

  • User — the member's name and account.
    • Role — their space role (Admin, User or Visitor). Hover the role to see a short description.
      • Active license — whether the member currently holds an active licence in the space.
        • Added info — who added the member to the space and when.

Space admins additionally see a Last login column and an actions menu on each row for managing the member.

          Space roles

Every member has one of three space roles. The role controls what they can do across the whole space.

          Inviting a user

To bring someone new into the space, open the invitation panel and fill in the invite form. An invitation is sent to the email address you enter. The person can then create an account and join the space; if they already have an account, they join the space directly.

          • Email — the email address of the person to invite (a valid email is required).
            • Role — the space role the invited user will get (Admin, User or Visitor). Defaults to User.

Select Send invitation to send it. From the Invitations panel you can review pending invitations and create new ones.

              Invite limits: personal vs enterprise

              • Personal space — limited to 3 users. You can invite up to a few others as full space members.
                • Enterprise space — no invite limit, but each user requires an active enterprise licence.

                  Managing an existing member

Space admins can manage each member from the actions menu on their row in the list.

                  • Change role — open the role dialog and pick a new space role, then save.
                    • Activate / Deactivate license — control whether the member can log in to the space. A member with a deactivated licence cannot access the space.
                      • Remove from space — remove the member. They lose access to the space's objects and are removed from all of its folders, labs and teams.
